Come Ride with Us

at the

Memorial Ride for Joe

 and All Fellow Veterans

Cpl. Joseph P. Micks, son of Ken and Amy Micks of Rapid River, Michigan, died July 8th, 2006 in Ramadi, Iraq.  Joe's remains are currently interrred in Germany.  The "Bring Joe Home" campaign continues it's efforts in raising funds to assist in returning Joe home to Rapid River.  However, this ride is not about fundraising.  It is a ride to remember and reflect on the sacrifices made by so many in our community.  We want to honor Corporal Micks and his family for their sacrifieces, as well as all Veteran's who have served this Great Nation.

This family oriented event is for all motorcyclists, cars and trucks.  It will include stops at various Veteran Memorials throughout the

Beautiful Central Upper Peninsula!

The ride starts as a group with a prayer and blessing of the vehicles at 12:30 pm est, (to be announced), at the 'Lest They Be Forgotten Memorial' in Masonville Township Park, located in Rapid River, MI.

There is No registration, No fees, No dinner, No prizes, No raffles, and No gimmicks.  We are just going to Ride, Reflect and Remember in the Wind.

We will then depart for the ride and gather back together at the Rapid River Pavilion for a final tribut to our Veteran's before we ride off for the evening; approximately 5:00pm.

The Friends of Joe will be honored with your presence!

         Lets Ride!
